This dark, structured wine, consists of a balanced blend of Portugal’s best varieties used to make Ports, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, along with Portugal’s version of Tempranillo grapes, Tinta Roriz. Paxis Red Blend holds aromas of cherry, subtle cedar, and dried tobacco. It is firm with tannins and dense berry fruits like ripe strawberry. Full in the mouth, it is concentrated wine that brings out a strongly chalky texture.
